Photography Tours with Paul Wager
Professional photographer Paul Wager has been living in Laos for the past 8 years and is a specialist on ethnic groups in the region. Paul works exclusively with Grasshopper to share his photographic skills with travellers on unique photographic tours. He loves Laos and loves photography!
A respected gentleman of his craft, Paul has joined Ewen Bell on his photographic workshops and been profiled by Mike Larder, an old colleague from their days in the newspaper game. His images appear worldwide and Paul continues to work on commissions for publications like Geographical and independent NGOs such as UNICEF.
Paul lives in Luang Prabang with his wife Joy and son Dan, once a visitor but for nearly a decade he has been a local. His photographic career began in an Australian country newspaper where he worked for 3 years, graduating to metropolitan newspapers soon after. Based in Brisbane he worked his way up to being a senior photographer. During his time with newspapers Paul regularly assisted with teaching cadets and helping lower graded photographers develop their skills.
