5 days ex Phnom Penh - trip code APKD10
US$640 (single room optional for US$190)
Coconut trees, small fishing villages, fresh seafood and light breezes, this is the coast of Cambodia. Even more relaxed than the rest of Cambodia, this area makes for truly beautiful cycling made even better by great hospitality.
Whilst a vehicle is on hand to use for support, this trip allows you the opportunity to cover the entire distance from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville by bike.
Itinerary
Day 1 | Cycle to Takeo
Starting from your hotel, we will cycle south through rice fields to the sleepy provincial capital of Takeo.
Days 2-3 | Cycling to Kep and kampot
We cycle on quiet roads and trails to reach the coast with French colonial buildings and fresh seafood. We make a boat trip to Rabbit Island for a swim in crystal clear waters, then head to Kampot, a small town in the shadow of Bokor Mountain.
Day 4-5 | Cycle to Sihanoukville
A fantastic last day of cycling sees us follow the picturesque coast, past brightly painted boats and fishing villages, then through the foothills of the Cardamon Mountains to reach the most famous beach in Cambodia.
