Itinerary
Day 1 | Chantaburi
After being picked up from your hotel in Bangkok or Pataya we first transfer to the coast. There is time for a quick swim while we set up the bikes. Today's ride is 51km firstly along the coast and then turning inland past shrimp and fruit farms to the provincial town of Chantaburi.
Day 2 | Pailin
From Chantaburi beautiful village back roads take you up into the hills and over the border to Cambodia. This area is famed for its gem mining and was long the hide out of the Khmer Rouge long after they were thrown from power.
Day 3 | Battambang
We cycle the main Pailin-Battambang road today as we drop down out of low hills and down onto the flat plain that surrounds Battambang and provides rice growing land for an area known as the Cambodian Rice Bowl.
Day 4 | Siem Reap
Cycling along the Battambang River we stop off at a local winery and a fruit bat settelement and then take a ride on small dirt tracks and trails. A ride on the famous Bamboo Train is a fun experience. We will then take a drive to reach Siem Reap where our tour ends.
Cycle Angkor
