Floating Markets Plus Bike

Escape from bustling Bangkok to two famous floating markets of Thailand, Damnoen Saduak and Amphawa Floating Markets, just 80km out of Bangkok. Here you will experience the old Thai way of life. Enjoy peaceful rides through the tranquil coconut farms where the pace of life couldn't get any slower.

After picking you up in Bangkok at around 06:45-07:15 a.m. from your hotel we have a few non-cycling sites to see before hitting the bikes. After transferring out of Bangkok check out a local seafood market, the famous coconut sugar village, and finally the most famous floating market, Damnoen Saduak. See vendors selling fruits, local Thai food, local Thai sweets, and creative souvenirs.

After enjoying the floating market, start cycling through coconut farms, fruit plantations, visit an auspicious temple that is covered by all four types of Banyan tree, and an ancient army camp. Continuing by bike visit an old temple to see the beautiful wood carvings, before stopping in at Amphawa Floating Market which is more famous for local Thai visitors. Amphawa is a very crafty market with both boats selling food and shops selling all manner of craft products.

Following quiet village roads we continue the ride to a unique temple famous for it's beautiful paintings and green marble floors. If lucky we can try the most tasty iced coffee and iced tea in the province before we head back to Bangkok.
