Full Day Bike Tour In Luang Prabang, Laos

Swim at Kuang Sii, visit a Moon bear sanctuary, trek through peaceful villages and take a fun bike ride, all in one day as you explore Laos. A scenic day taking in some of the highlights outside of Luang Prabang by bike. Visit the Kuang Si Waterfall and 'Free the Bears' enclosure, then take a trek through remote villages, before enjoying a swift and thrilling, mostly downhill bike ride back to Luang Prabang.

Tour Itinerary

Start Time: 7:30 am – End Time: 4 pm

The day starts off with our air-conditioned vehicle picking you up from your hotel and a drive to Kuang Sii Waterfall. Here we visit the Free the Bears enclosure and learn about the great work that this organisation is doing. There is time for a swim at the falls before we start our trek into the forest surrounding Kuang Sii.

During the trek we will stop at one of many small villages in time for a picnic lunch and then we'll continue on through picturesque countryside. In the mid afternoon we finish our trek and take to our bikes for a fun, mostly downhill ride back to Luang Prabang.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Top quality, well maintained Merida mountain bikes in a full range of sizes are included in your tour, fitted with hybrid tires for touring. We also provide a helmet and water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout the ride.

An experienced English speaking, local leader will host you on this trip who is well spoken, very knowledgeable, and charming. Our leaders are often cited as being the main highlight of the tour. We use local guides who have a passion for their country and are always well informed on topics ranging from history, politics, cuisine and importantly local customs and cultures. Our leaders will take pride in introducing you to every aspect of their country and will help you to connect with the villagers you meet along the way. They will also keep your safety and comfort top priorities at all times.

Try out tasty Lao snacks along the way. Safe drinking water is also provided throughout the tour. Then top it all off with a delicious Lao lunch to finish the tour. Lao food is an adventure in and of itself.
