Bike & Zipline Adventure in Angkor Park

Enjoy a full day of active fun, bike touring the sights beyond the main temples of Angkor Park and whizzing along a zipline. You'll explore some lesser known temples on two-wheels, savor a delicious lunch and spend a thrilling afternoon on a zipline course through the treetops. In the jungle beyond the must-see temples of Angkor lie some ancient secret spots that are worth a visit, and riding a bicycle gives you the best access to these places. Equal in beauty and history, these ruins hold an opportunity to escape the crowds and explore for a second day Angkor adventure. To finish the day in a truly unique way, we take to the zipline in the afternoon to see Angkor from a whole new angle - the treetops.

Angkor Pass
You will need an Angkor Pass for this tour. If you don't already have one, you can purchase one upon entry to the Angkor Zone on the morning of the tour.

Tour Itinerary

Start Time: 7:45 am – End Time: 4 pm

Start the day at 7:45 am, ready for an 8:00 am start at our Siem Reap shop. We try out the bikes before heading towards Angkor, stopping at the ticket booth along the way for those who need to purchase a ticket.

It isn’t long before we are in the heart of the ancient wonders of Angkor, with Angkor Wat nearby, we start pedaling our way to the lesser known temples of the Angkor Area. We’ll park our bikes at three lesser-known, but still amazing, temples: Bat Chhum Temple, Banteay Kdei and Pre Rup. Here we’ll explore the ruins with our expert guide weaving the stories of ancient times when these incredible structures were erected. Take in these incredible sights far from the crowded main temples.

Around midday, we pedal our way to the peaceful Srah Srang reservoir where we’ll enjoy a local style lunch, highlighting some famous Khmer dishes. With full stomachs, we’ll jump in the support van and make our way to Angkor Zipline.

To see Angkor from a whole new angle, we do a course of ziplining which includes 8 Platforms, 2 Sky Bridges, 3 Single Zips, 1 Double Zip 1 Spiderman Bridge and 1 Abseil Descent. Our expert guides have safety as the number one priority, so you can enjoy an hour of fun in the treetops worry-free. This will be a thrilling new view of this incredible temple complex!

We will return to the shop with the tour finishing at approximately 4pm.

Most of the day’s riding is on flat tracks and small roads with no hills. The cycling is generally easy, but some sections on small trails might dissuade beginner riders.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Visit some of the lesser known temples of Angkor. We visit three sites which provide the perfect opportunity to escape the crowds and learn about the incredible history of the powerful Angkor civilization.

While we take you to see some iconic temples in the Angkor Archeological Park, our means of travel is half the fun. We ride the back roads and hidden dirt trails to escape the crowds and bus tourists. This is a satisfying day of cycling through the jungle.

A day of adventure is topped off with an unforgettable afternoon of fun in ziplining through the ancient treetops of Angkor.

Well maintained, top quality imported GT mountain bikes with water bottle and helmet are provided.

An experienced English speaking, local leader will host you on this trip who is well spoken, very well informed, and charming. Our leaders are often cited as being the main highlight of the tour. We use local guides who have a passion for their country and are always well informed on topics ranging from history, politics, cuisine and importantly local customs and cultures. Our leaders will take pride in introducing you to every aspect of their country, and are attentive to your comfort and safety at all times.

This tour is fully supported by an air-conditioned support vehicle so if you need a break from riding the van is always there to use.

A delicious lunch is included on this tour. Snacks, fruit and clean water are also provided throughout the trip.

This tour is guaranteed for a minimum of just 2 travelers. And we limit the group size to only 9 travelers so that you get all the attention you want in an intimate group.
