Overview
Looking for a more interesting way to reach the islands of Thailand? Why not take the slow road and cycle with us on this achievable bike ride that follows the southern coastline, taking back roads and traveling through National Parks. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with locals and experience authentic Thai culture. This achievable ride has something for everybody. So much better than flying and missing all those interesting places along the way!
210 Km riding. This is a predominantly flat ride (with only a few small hills) on back roads so it is achievable by anyone who can ride a bike for the distances involved - and if not just jump in the air-conditioned support vehicle for a rest. We take a slow and relaxed pace so this trip is well suited to fit riders looking for a relaxing ride or those new to cycle touring who are looking to find out what it's all about. We do spend two very short sections of less than 10km each on the main highway, but if you don't feel comfortable with this just jump in the support van for these bits.
Pedal-assist E-bike is an available option for this tour for $140 surcharge.
Highlights
Pedal past the craggy limestone karsts of Sam Roi Yot National Park and keep your eyes peeled for monkeys!
Along the way, enjoy the world-renowned flavors of Thai cuisine.
The endpoint of our ride puts you in the perfect position to take a ferry to the island of your choice.
