The Grasshopper Shikoku tour is a trip of a lifetime. Cycling through local villages and beautiful landscapes with a fun group and thoughtful guides created the perfect combination of culture and activity. Being relatively new to cycling, I found some of the mountain climbs to be especially rewarding and memorable. I was impressed with the routes Grasshopper designed, taking lesser traveled roads and always making a point to experience local Japanese food and culture.

Shikoku is a wonderful place to cycle – spectacular scenery, mainly quiet “car free” roads. However there were some long hills- the great scenery. And the food was fantastic. The local team – led by Norman (an American who lives in Japan – fluent Japanese), Reiko his wife and the expert mechanic and Dale were the best team I’ve had anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble everything just “happened”
